The final evening of the latest Get
Back Into programme delivered by LDS on on behalf Team Beds and
Luton was a bitter sweet occasion. Sweet for the victor of the
tournament Jenny Sookraj pictured receiving her trophy and bitter
as it was Dave Merrell, our senior coach's final Get Back Into
programme before he retires. Dave has been central to the
successful partnership developed over the last 15 months during
which time the club has delivered 5 very popular programmes in
varying locations in fact it was he who queried, why squash hadn't
been included when he saw an advert for the popular adult sport
participation project. Dave still has a few more weeks of coaching
juniors to go before he puts away his cones and markers for good,
but this was definitely the end of an era.
