Luton & Dunstable Squash & Rackets Club is delighted to announce that Steve Davies has passed his Level 3 Coaching qualification, meaning that he becomes one of the Elite squash coaches in England.

Steve (pictured) said, "After 6 months of hard work and 3 trips up to England Squash HQ in Manchester I have now completed my level 3 coaching certificate. This is designed to allow you to coach at regional academy standard and having had contact time on the course with some of the countries top coaches I certainly found it very useful and insightful. My aims now are to make use of the qualification both at my home club LDS who helped me with funding for the course and around the county and region. LDS has seen a recent growth in both the number of juniors playing squash and the number of coaches available so hopefully, we will see some more talent coming through soon."
John Stevens, development officer said, "It's a real boost for the club to have an Elite coach at the club. It strengthens the quality of the coaching team, which has grown to 6 members now, and will allow us to continue the growth of members and participation of the club at all levels"
