Another Successful GBI

GBI March 11.JPG

"The first Get Back Into session of 2011 finished on a competitive high with the end of course Tournament being won by Belinda Jones seen receiving her trophy from ES&R Level 1 coach Adrian John.  Belinda won a tough best of three final against Gloria Rodrigues 12:10, 12:10.

This is the fifth time LDSRC have hosted a GBI squash course which gives the opportunity for new or returning squash players to try out the sport under the supervision of Licensed ES&R coaches and is hopefully a stepping stone towards full participation.  The next seven week course is due to start in May."

LDS regularly runs Get Back Into Squash programmes on behalf of Team Beds and Luton and has become one of it's most successful sports.

Fancy some high quality, low cost coaching

LDS has once again been asked to deliver squash as part of Team Beds and Luton's regular drive to encourage more adults to participate in sport. The programme is aimed at adults who wish to try a new sport or revisit a sport that perhaps they played many years ago and want to revisit and is delivered by our coaching team.

Another visit from an exceptional coach

On Saturday the 10th of July it was the turn of the youngest juniors at LDS to be privileged with a visit of one of Eastern Regions top coaches, Chris Vine. Chris did not disappoint and as is obvious from the picture he gave them a real work-out. Not only did the youngsters really enjoy it, but the visit was designed to assist the coaching team to enrich their skills in teaching the little ones.
